Welcome to my personal website. This is the place where my best ideas will land. First of all, I would like to introduce myself, my name is IRATXE GARCÍA and my current occupation is being a student, by now. I am doing a Double Degree in Mechanical and Industrial Design Engineering in Terrassa School of Engineering. It's one of the multiple colleges that form UPC (Polytechnic University of Catalonia).

 

In the next few years I will be uploading in this website school work, projects, sketches and pictures. They will show a glimpse of the intellectual and creative development that my teachers are guiding me through. I will gladly go through this path until I become a designer.

 

What does design mean, specifically industrial design? It is the conception and development of a product, so that it can be mass produced. Even without realizing it, we are surrounded by the result of the ideas of thousands of designers over the last two centuries. They conform the material culture of our era.
